How to Participate?

In celebration of the 75th Annual Musky Festival in 2025, the Hayward Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Medallion Hunt with a $2,025 cash prize.

Tune in to WRLS 92.3 FM from June 16 through June 20 for daily clues revealing the medallion’s location, hidden somewhere in the Hayward Area.

Rules and Important Information

To help ensure a fun, safe, and fair experience for everyone, please review the following guidelines before participating.

Medallion Description

• The 2025 medallion is made of clear acrylic, approximately 5.5 inches in diameter.

• It includes unique, identifiable markings and cannot be duplicated.

• Forgeries will be easily recognized and disqualified.

• To claim the prize, you must identify the specific location where the medallion was found.

Eligibility

• Participants must be 18 years or older to claim the prize.

• Individuals under 18 may participate, but an adult must claim the prize and is responsible for any taxes associated with the winnings.

Location Guidelines

• The medallion is hidden outdoors on public property within a 15-mile radius of the Hayward Information Center
  (15805 US Hwy 63).

• It is above ground, but may be covered by loose debris such as sticks or leaves.

• No climbing, scaling, or damaging vegetation is required to find the medallion.

• The medallion is not located within 10 feet of any body of water.

The Medallion Will NOT Be Hidden:

• On the grounds of the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation.

• In any government building or on government office grounds.

• Under natural or artificial turf.

• On any golf course (but it may be on public parks that include disc golf).

• On any construction site.
